Tim Burton Mary Poppins

I have heard Tim Burton will be directing a new version of the Disney classic Mary Poppins. I am not completely sure if this is fact or just talk. This would be an amazing unique version of the story. Remember the original Disney movie did not completely represent P,L Travers vision. Tim would normally correct this by going in to depth, like he did with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. So I believe this would be a good fit, even with the dark toned set and make up.
